UHF RFID EPC encoder (SGTIN-96, SSCC-96, GIAI-96)

Encode the EPC you need to program onto a UHF RFID tag. Enter your GS1 company prefix, the reference and (for SGTIN) a serial, and the tool builds the EPC hex, the EPC tag URI and the full 96-bit binary, following the GS1 EPC Tag Data Standard partition tables.   • SGTIN-96 — a serialised GTIN: unique identity per item. The item reference includes the GTIN indicator digit as its most significant digit.
  • SSCC-96 — Serial Shipping Container Code for pallets and logistics units. The serial reference includes the extension digit.
  • GIAI-96 — Global Individual Asset Identifier, ideal for RFID asset tracking where each asset has a unique ID.

What does this EPC encoder do?

Can this tool write to an RFID tag?

No. A web browser cannot write to a physical RFID tag. This tool calculates the EPC value; you then write that hex to the tag's EPC memory bank using an RFID reader or printer-encoder.
